Lovingly shared by Sai devotees from Sri Sathya Sai Society, Singapore
(Bal Vikas Children’s Play was on a story of Transformation)
Ratnakara, a ruthless ignorant dacoit, encounteres the Sapta Rishis. Through their divine teachings, Ratnakara meditates on the name of Sri Rama continuously and transforms into a great sage, Valmiki.
Sage Narada visits Valmiki and tells him the story of Sri Rama in a nutshell. Valmiki expresses his grief over a dying bird by uttering the first sloka ever. By the divine grace of Lord Brahma, he writes the story of Sri Rama in sloka form.
Lava and Kusa, the sons of Sri Rama, then propagate the Ramayana.
This play was performed by Bal Vikas children of Sri Sathya Sai Society Singapore, in the Divine presence of Swami at the Poorna Chandra Hall on 6th December Saturday evening. Some of the pictures show the immeasurable happiness on the faces of the participants when Swami showered them with His grace after the play.
